Don't like wikia, must find another wiki to export the current text and continue work.

Use of Wikia

Pilcrow has been using a wikia site for the collaboration in certain projects, but the platform is not the best: too many ads, too slow, bad interfase (but free...) t48media is looking for options, including other wikis and open translation plaforms. Any ideas or suggestions?

Pilcrow Network

Pilcrow Commons (tm) (Beta) is a network of writers and translators that work collectively on texts.

Pilcrow Commons (tm) is an ePublishing project by t48media LLC.

The collaborative texts will be published as eBooks by t48media LLC, with credits to all collaborators. All eBooks will be distributed using various channels and formats.

Any member of the network can start a group. A group is a project that will result in an eBook. The group is the area to collaborate, discuss and exchange information.

The work on the text will be done using one or several wikis for each group. Here is the Project Wiki Site

Members of the network can work in different groups. All produced texts are under a CC license (see Forum) and can be used by the members of the community, under the conditions of the license.

Los Raros

Was able to buy a copy of "Los Raros" by Ruben Dario at Harvard Bookstore in Cambridge. The book is POD, that is printed in the store to order. Verty well bound and in fine paper, is a good reading copy, and the basis for the Ruben Dario translation project. Am now in the process os making a transcription.

The company that does the POD service is http://www.ondemandbooks.com . Good thing.
